US Ambassador Christopher Hill said on Monday that the Brussels agreement is about Kosovo, not national minorities in Serbia.

Speaking in the southern Serbia town of Bujanovic which has a large ethnic Albanian population, Hill said that the European Union-facilitated dialogue is intended to resolve problems between Belgrade and Pristina and not other issues such as the question of national minorities.

The local news portal Bujanovacke quoted him as saying that the question of the Albanian national minority in Seria is solely an issue for the state of Serbia and has nothing to do with the Brussels dialogue.

The agreement has no intention of crossing borders, he is reported to have said.
