The United States will always be a close friend of the people of Kosovo, and we are fully committed to our partnership, the Embassy said in its response, adding that, however, the US encourages partners to work constructively to ensure stability and security.
“We want to move forward with the interim government, but we need a partner that understands the need to avoid destabilizing actions and is committed to advancing regional stability and protecting the rights of all citizens of Kosovo,” the Embassy said, adding that it will continue to monitor the actions of the interim government.
Meanwhile, the Embassy did not comment on the meetings Prattipati had with the leaders of parties that were in the opposition during the previous term.
