US military and VS special forces joint exercise in eastern Serbia

It added that the goal was to improve the combat readiness and interoperability of special forces and exchange experiences in performing certain parts of special operations.

During the three-week training activities, members of the special forces of the two countries, with the support of the VS Air Force and Air Defense units, will practice the work of combat groups in performing a vertical manoeuvre in counterterrorism operations in rural areas, tactics and procedures in combat in an urban environment.

"The realisation of this and similar exercise activities with the armed forces of the most developed countries of the world is proof of the quality of training in VS special units and contributes to strengthening military cooperation with partner countries," the statement said.
