US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that Washington welcomes the agreement reached on the European Union proposal to normalize Belgrade-Pristina relations in Ohrid.

EU High Representative Josep Borrell met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti to hammer out an implementation annex to the agreement to normalize relations that both sides agreed to but did not sign in Brussels. The annex was also not signed at the meeting in the North Macedonia city of Ohrid.

“The United States welcomes the EU-facilitated accord Kosovo and Serbia reached yesterday. We are proud to support the agreement and remain committed to advancing European and Euro-Atlantic integration,” Blinken said in a Twitter post.
