At a community meeting held Wednesday, Valjevo residents voted for a permanent ban on the entry, passage, and presence in the city for Informer TV editor-in-chief Dragan Vucicevic, Pink TV owner Zeljko Mirtovic, and the staff of both television stations, one of the community meeting organizers told N1.
Nova TV’s reporter told N1 that the people of Valjevo voted for the ban on Informer due to the channel targeting high school seniors from Valjevo and repeatedly spreading falsehoods. They expect those responsible for disseminating these falsehoods to face legal consequences.
The point regarding Vucicevic elicited the most intense reactions during the meeting, said Nova TV’s reporter.
Valjevo residents also passed resolutions to support all student demands and those of Valjevo high school students.
A request was addressed to the mayor of Valjevo, urging him to condemn, within three days, the claims made by Informer TV and the targeting of high school students.
