A video of masked youths assaulting teenagers with baseball bats in Novi Sad appeared on social media on Wednesday.
The video showed the youths in black hoodies assaulting a smaller group of 16 year-olds in front of the Novi Sad Promenade shopping mall. The father of one of the assaulted boys told N1 the attackers were football supporters, adding that this was not an isolated incident. He said the boys were headed to a sports event. According to the father, the boys are being targeted and the police is doing nothing about it.
Two of the teenagers ended up in hospital.
