Vucevic: Belgrade elections should be held as soon as possible

Leader of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and Defense Minister Milos Vucevic said the SNS will nominate the prime minister designate in ten or so days, adding he believes that this time the process will go faster.

Speaking for Prva TV Vucevic said the Serbian Government is still doing its job.

He said the Belgrade elections should be held as soon as possible because Belgrade has been losing a lot since it got a temporary governing body.

Vucevic added that the irresponsible behavior of some people that Belgraders had placed their trust in is the reason why the Belgrade Assembly has not been constituted.

He said that city is losing time for investments and for improving the lives of the citizens on a daily basis.

Vucevic also said the SNS would run in the elections in a broader format and that it has invited all parties who see Serbia as an independent and free state to form a wide political front.
