Speaking to Radio Television of Serbia (RTS), Vucevic assured that both citizens and the economy will have sufficient energy supplies.

According to the Prime Minister, while discussions with the US on clarifying the scope of the sanctions continue, Serbia will simultaneously engage in talks with Russia to find the best way to resolve the situation.

„Although the timeframe is short, it will be sufficient to calmly and responsibly find a solution,“ Vucevic said.

He added that the government and President Aleksandar Vucic will hold a joint meeting with US Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Richard Verma, with strategic dialogue being one of the key topics.

„Energy will be the dominant topic, but not the only one. Many other issues will be discussed, and one of the subtopics must be clarification regarding NIS. Since this has already happened, it is fortunate that we will have a meeting on Saturday with a high-level US delegation to be better informed about the steps we need to take,“ the Serbian Prime Minister concluded.
