“The three key topics of the telephone conversation were the issue of Kosovo and Metohija and the US administration’s desire for a solution to be reached in the shortest possible time, the Republic of Serbia’s attitude towards the Russian Federation, as well as the diversification of our country’s energy sources,” said the press release.

Kosovo and Metohija is the official name for what the Serbian authorities consider to be the country’s southern province.

US Secretary of State Blinken informed President Vucic of the necessity for an agreement with Pristina to be reached quickly, while President Vucic presented the positions of the Republic of Serbia, said the press release.
