Vucic: Average salary will be € 1,000
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated that by the end of the next government’s mandate, the average salary in Serbia could be € 1,000.

Commenting on the economic situation in the country, Vucic, as a guest on TV Pink, said that in the last two years, since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic, Serbia has made the fastest economic progress in the whole of Europe.
Vucic said that € 204 million were set aside to help young people – twice per € 100, € 300 million for one-time benefits to pensioners of 20,000 dinars, which is 500 million "that one must have to give without jeopardizing the public debt rate."
Vucic assessed that the macroeconomic situation in Serbia is stable, the dinar is strong, tied to the euro exchange rate as in 2012, stating that there are people who still do not have an easy live, but the state is fighting to further reduce unemployment and bring in investors.
