Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told reporters in Brussels on Tuesday night that Belgrade accepted the European Union draft statute of the Community of Serb Municipalities (CSM) but that Pristina rejected it.

Speaking after his meeting with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti which was chaired by EU High Representative Josep Borrel with Special Representative Miroslav Lajcak, Vucic said that every part of the EU proposal cited earlier agreements signed by Belgrade and Pristina.
According to him, Pristina will not fulfill its obligation in the 2013 Brussels Agreement to form the CSM. “Either the 2013 and 2015 agreements are accepted or this is the end of everything,” he said. He added that he does not see a solution at present and that he is not optimistic. “The four of us did not see a solution tonight and we left in the hope of finding some agreement in the coming days,” he said, adding: “I warned from the start and I knew which way things were heading,” he said.
Vucic said they discussed the current situation in Kosovo following the local elections in northern majority-Serb muncipalities which the Kosovo Serbs boycotted.
