Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic called the Quint country liars and added that they should be ashamed about the coming local elections in Kosovo.

“Shame on them all, the entire Quint, all those liars,” Vucic said in a live appearance on the pro-government TV Prva. He said that Sunday will be a terrible day for democracy and a difficult day for the Serbs in Kosovo.

“It will be a day which will officially be a mark of shame for Europe and the world. Why aren’t the Serbs taking part? The Serbs quit institutions, not on a whim or because they are crazy… They said we have taken part in elections for nine years and you haven’t fulfilled your obligation to form the Community of Serb Municipalities (CSM) for 10 years,” he said and blamed the Quint.

“There isn’t a single Serb candidate in Leposavic, Kosovska Mitrovica, Zubin Potok or Zvecan. The candidates are all from (Kosovo Prime Minister Albin) Kurti’s and (former President Hashim) Thaci’s parties,” Vucic said. He claimed that the authorities in Pristina will bring in Albanians not living in those municipalities to vote and call the elections legal.

“I’ll tell you what this is about. They’re all working together because they have to support Kosovo and break Serbia. That is their ultimate and only goal. Perhaps they will break me but I won’t let them break Serbia. This is the most disgusting and dishonest thing they could have done,” he said.

Vucic claimed that the polling stations in the north of Kosovo have been set up in police stations and police containers.
