In honor of January 9, Republika Srpska Day, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic sent a congratulatory message to Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik.

The Serbian President’s office said Vucic wished Republika Sprska progress, peace and prosperity of all its people.

“As we also celebrate St. Stephen’s Day, we are reminded that the power of a people is measured by the strength of its unity and steadfastness in preserving its spirituality, language, script, identity, historic and cultural heritage, and its greatness – by the nurturing of the highest ethical and human values and ideals, as well as by its readiness to share its good with others,” said Vucic.

He said precisely such a Republika Srpska should continue to be the driving force of prosperity and the pillar of stability.

“We continue to fight for peace and prosperity through work, knowledge, creativity and good will toward all those who are ready to sincerely accept the extended hand of cooperation so that the entire region could take the path of progress, for the benefit of all the people living in these parts,” said Vucic.

He stressed that, “as it has been doing so far, Serbia will continue to consistently support the implementation of the provisions of the Dayton Agreement, respecting the integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the integrity of (Republika) Srpska within its constitutional framework.”

“In these efforts, as always, Serbia will be your strongest stronghold and support, because the bonds that unite us, as brothers who have shared both good and evil throughout history, are unbreakable and eternal,” said the Serbian President.

“Long live (Republika) Srpska! Long live Serbia!” Vucic wrote in his message to Dodik.
