Vucic demands accountability for talk of violence

Speaking in an Instagram video from Paris, Vucic said that United Media and its media outlets which include N1 are “a platform for violence”. The video was recorded at the Serbian ambassador’s residence in Paris prior to his meeting with French President Emanuel Macron.

“We have seen that the platform for violence in Serbia, United Media, is calling people to violence if it does not like the next government regardless of the fact that they do not have the majority and regardless of the fact that none of that would be in line with the law,” he said.

He said his demand for accountability for anyone “talking about violence, the rescuing violence” would be made at the gathering in Belgrade on April 12.

He also called students to go back to class because “the time of pressure and violence is past”.
