Vucic: Important meetings with EU officials on Growth Agenda

Speaking in a video posted on his X account, Vucic said he had important meetings with the head of the head of the Directorate-General Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations Gert Jan Koopman, European Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi and EU Council President Charles Michel. “The topics at all the meetings was the growth agenda, necessary reforms and a single market. For us these were very important, very good talks. We have a new opportunity to speed up the EU integration process and make things and make relations much better and more useful in the interest of our people,” he said in the video.

His ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) quoted him as saying that he believes the first installment of the funds from the Growth Agenda will arrive before the end of the year.

Vucic is in Brussels for meetings with EU officials and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti as part of the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue.
