President Aleksandar Vucic said that the Serbian military will stage a parade in Belgrade in mid-September, unprecedented in the region.
He said that the parade will display a lot of armaments that have been bought or produced in the country.
“We are strengthening our military as a powerful deterrent if anyone thinks Serbia is easy prey. That is how we maintain peace, stability but we are not endangering anyone with this,” he told reporters in Abu Dhabi during a visit to the United Arab Emirates.
Vucic said that Serbia and the UAE will raise their military cooperation to a higher level.
