„Where the citizens came from the most, where the highest standard is, the coronavirus is advancing the most. Whoever returned from Montenegro, Croatia, and Greece, we have a lot of problems because they were in contact and are infected now,“ Vucic said.

Commenting on the position of immunologist Milanko Sekler that Serbia, instead of announcing restrictive measures, should restrict the unvaccinated from entering catering facilities and going to public gatherings, Vucic said that he would listen to the profession, but also pay attention to respecting the Serbian Constitution.

„We will definitely listen to the profession, that’s how we started and we can’t get angry and not listen to the profession because we don’t like something,“ he pointed out.

Vucic stated that the salaries of health workers and non-medical staff will be increased by the end of the year, if Serbia maintains the current economic growth rate.

Vucic said that from 2022, the state will issue an invoice to each hospitalized patient in the amount of their care cost and that the state will pay for everything.
