United Media has issued a public warning regarding the broadcast of the propaganda video "Zlo doba" (Evil times) describing it as the most dangerous attack to date on media outlets operating under its umbrella. The company has raised concerns that this may be a prelude to a complete shutdown of independent television channels N1 and Nova in Serbia.

United Media has unequivocally stated that the pseudo-documentary, which contains almost no factual information, is directly linked to the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and President Aleksandar Vucic. The company claims that faced with declining public support, growing citizen dissatisfaction, and increasing global scrutiny of their abuses, the ruling elite has resorted to the most extreme measure yet: the suppression of independent journalism.

"Zlo doba" is described as a dangerous mix of disinformation, manipulation, half-truths, and biased interpretations of United Media and United Group's activities. The video, aired on national television channels, openly targets the company's executives, journalists, media outlets, and TV personalities with the apparent aim of dehumanizing, criminalizing, and ultimately removing them from the public sphere.

United Media has characterized this as more than a smear campaign, calling it the culmination of years of systematic persecution of free media. The company has labelled it one of the most serious examples of politically motivated media violence in modern Europe.

Operating in full compliance with the laws of all countries where it is present, United Media emphasizes its commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards.

Its mission is to provide citizens with accurate, timely, and verified information. However, the company notes that this commitment has made it a target of sustained pressure, threats, and hate campaigns from the ruling elite, represented by the Serbian Progressive Party.

United Media has declared this attack as a direct assault on media freedom, freedom of speech, and citizens' right to choose truth over propaganda. The company has called it an attack on fundamental democratic values, one that transcends Serbia's borders and demands an urgent and clear response from the European and international community.

In addition to informing all relevant international organizations and institutions, United Media has announced plans to take all necessary legal steps to protect the legitimate rights of its media outlets.
