Serbia’s President and leader of the ruling SNS, Aleksandar Vucic, is touring municipalities in the country after announcing the establishment of the National Movement for the State and promised more investments and subsidies for Pcinjsko, Toplicki and Jablanicki districts.

Vucic called the people of Vranje „guardians of the territory“, adding that 623 children were born in Vranje last year, while more than a thousand died.
He said that this is what a responsible state must change with a wise policy.

He also noted that salaries in Belgrade and Novi Sad are many times higher than in Nis and that this must be changed with legal changes and special policies. He announced an increase in special state payments for the three most vulnerable districts.

Vucic also spoke about the issue of Kosovo.

„I will not be the one who will sign the independence of Kosovo. I am ashamed to go around Serbia and make excuses to anyone. There is no surrender, we will not recognize the independence of Kosovo either de facto or de jure, but we want peace with the Albanians, we want decent relations,“ he said.
