Vucic promotes military security, defense directorate chiefs

A press release said that Defense Minister Bratislav Gasic presented the promotions to the Director of the Military Security

Agency Djuro Jovanic and Defense Directorate chief Srdjan Petkovic, both of who were promoted to Lt General, among others.

The promotions included officers at brigade level commands, logistics departments and senior air force and air defense posts.

The press release referred to Vucic as supreme commander, a title that does not exist in the constitution which does say that the president commands the military.
