Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told Bloomberg that he does not support Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

We said right at the start that we are not in a position and can’t support Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. To us, the Crimea is Ukraine and the Donbas is Ukraine and it will remain so, Vucic said in an interview before traveling to Davos to take part in the World Economic Forum.

Vucic said he was grateful to Russia for its support on Kosovo and added that this is why Belgrade can’t support the sanctions against Moscow. According to him, that is not the solution given Serbia’s experience after 8 years under sanctions.
