Vucic says documentary about him one-sided

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that the documentary about his political career aired on N1 TV did not show the other side and was neither fair nor democratic.
N1 aired the documentary I Aleksandar: State Gambit by Jovana S. Polic and Sanja Loncar on Thursday evening. Polic told N1 that they invited Vucic to talk for the film twice but got no reply. “We first emailed an official request to the president’s cabinet and got no reply. His media advisor Suzana Vasiljevic responded with a text message saying that he does not want to talk for the film. We sent another request a while later but got no reply,” Polic said.
“They created an atmosphere in which everything is allowed. They actually tried me, set up a chair and the chair was supposed to say whether it regrets that Vucic was not in the dock,” Vucic said. “Its very simple when someone can’t answer you. There is no other side her, that is not democratic, not fair. If you want to destroy someone, state your goal, judge a chair, invent an indictment, mak up a sentence and try me for the time that I had nothing to do with politics,” he said.
According to Vucic, the producers of the documentary were tasked with blackening him. “They were given a job, you have to blacken Vucic, write, speak, invent whatever you want and the sentence must be death,” he said.
“There hasn’t been a trial like this since 1945, the trial in 1946 were more just than this one against me,” Vucic said.
