Vucic says Wireless Media, Telekom contract above board

Wireless Media, Telekom Serbia and several smaller partner companies were awarded a 60 million Euro contract to design and maintain software used to calculate salaries in the public sector. Economy experts said that the contract was at least a 1,000 times over the actual cost of the job.

“Everything is clear in that public procurement, the best offer was made,” Vucic said, adding that he has full confidence in Finance Minister Sinisa Mali whose ministry published the tender for the job. “If I get proof that anything in that public procurement was illegal, Sinisa Mali will face criminal charges,” Vucic said.
