Vucic: Serbia committed to EU expansion

Vucic is in Albania for a summit of the Brdo-Brioni Process in the city of Duress.

“Although numerous challenges await us, Serbia remains committed to efforts to ensure EU expansion remains one of the priorities and not a side topic,” Vucic wrote in an Instagram post.

He added that he expects clear conclusions from the Brdo-Brioni Process “because only honesty and consistency in the approach of all parties bring the process permanent viability and trust of the countries of the region”.

“I am convinced that the expansion of the Union should remain clearly written in the agenda of the Western Balkans and that the open perspectives of EU membership represent a strong driver of reforms, the arrival of new investments and economic growth. Along the way, Serbia will always be a reliable and responsible partner of the EU,” the Instagram post said.
