Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic, met with the mayors of Kozarska Dubica, Kostajnica, Nevesinje and Drvar in Bosnia on Saturday and said that Serbia would allocate 10 to 12 million euros in aid for these four municipalities.

„Our goal and interest is for people to stay and live in their homes, and we, Serbia, will help in every way for people to live better and to be able to see the future in their homes,“ Vucic said.

He added that Serbia and Bosnia’s Republika Srpska (RS) entity will jointly build a large memorial complex in the area of Donja Gradina in the coming period so that Serbs have a place where they can honour the victims of the WWII Jasenovac concentration camp.

He congratulated authorities in the RS for “securing the normal functioning of the budget and everything else in such political conditions.”

The Chairman of Bosnia’s tripartite Presidency, Milorad Dodik, as well as RS President, Zeljka Cvijanovic, RS Prime Minister, Radovan Viskovic, Serbia’ Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs and Serbia’s Interior Minister, Aleksandar Vulin, also participated in the meeting.
