Vucic: Serbia wants to promote cooperation with UK

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told the first UK-Western Balkans Commercial Conference that Serbia wants to promote all forms of cooperation with Great Britain.
“We in Serbia want much wider and better cooperation with British companies, as we do in every kind of political, commercial and social activity. We want better and closer relations with the United Kingdom. It is one of the greatest political forces in the world, and for us a terribly important partner,” he is quoted as saying on his Instagram profile. “I hope that both Serbian and British companies will find an interest in doing business together,” he said.
He said that everyone in the region needs to work together to make the Western Balkans competitive. According to the Serbian President everyone in the region needs to do their job in terms of politics and the economy as a condition to improve relations with the UK and get more opportunities on the UK market.
Vucic said that Serbia has huge ambitions and added that developing the country is hugely important.
The conference was organized by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS), government and British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
