“We will address the public with serious measures in the next 72 hours,” Vucic wrote in an Instagram post after his meetings with European Union envoy Miroslav Lajcak and US Ambassador Christopher Hill. “Serbia always wants a dialogue but will not allow the persecution and pogrom of the Serb population,” he wrote.
“I will speak about what Serbia demands over the brutal assault on the Serb population primarily in northern Kosovo as well as what the international community failed to do, what Serbia wants and what Serbia will do,” he added.
According to Vucic, there will be a number of “important meetings because we have to fight for Serbia’s position in the world and look for allies”. “We will do everything possible because it’s clear now that Kurti wants the destruction and persecution of the Serb people and I think that is clear not only to us but to everyone else as well,” he wrote.
Vucic said that Europe and the Quint countries have condemned what he called Kurti’s illegal, criminal and unlawful decisions but have done nothing else.
