Vucic signs cooperation agreement with WHO

“Serbia remains committed to investments in health and cooperation with international partners, because only a strong and modern health system can respond to the challenges of the future and preserve what is most valuable, which is the health of our citizens,” he said in an Instagram post which added that he discussed harmonizing the country’s health care system with European standards with WHO regional Director Dr Hans Kluge.

“We exchanged opinions on further harmonization of our healthcare system with European standards within the process of Serbia's accession to the European Union, including measures aimed at protecting public health and reducing the use of tobacco,” he added.
