The meeting focused on the further development of Serbian-Russian relations, including in the energy sphere, with the expectation that talks on quantities, prices and other conditions for gas procurement will begin soon. Bocan-Kharchenko spoke about how Russia sees the conflict in Ukraine.

Vucic expressed hope that the conflict would end soon and expressed a desire for lasting peace.

He also expressed „the unwavering determination of the state leadership of Serbia to preserve peace and stability in the region with its actions.“

Vucic informed his interlocutor about the current situation in the Western Balkans.

Botsan-Kharchenko congratulated Vucic on his re-election to the responsible position of head of state, wishing him to further contribute to the progress of Serbian society and economy with his dedicated work.
