Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic toured the EXPO construction site on Tuesday and noted that “work continues even at 10 o’clock in the evening.”

“Here we are at the construction site at 10 pm. I want to tell people that I have seen incredible progress, these workers are doing a fantastic job every day. All the foundation piles are in place, we are about a month and a half to two months behind on the stadium, but we will make up for it,” Vucic said in an Instagram post.

He emphasized that the construction of 2500 apartments is also progressing rapidly, adding that this is a significant achievement.

“This is currently the largest construction site in Southeast Europe, and even at this hour, there are many workers here. I am happy that we have accomplished this, but we need to speed things up and work harder. I will be inspecting the works every seven days,” said Vucic.

Serbia is to host Specialized Expo 2027.
