Dragana Budakov was standing on her balcony in a central city street when the rocket hit her, broke through her window screen and ricocheted through one of the rooms of her home. Budakov was taken to the city emergency medical center before going to the local police station to give a statement because the police did not send a patrol to the site.

Budakov told a Danas daily reporter that she was on her balcony making noise with her neighbors when a group of 5 young men in dark hoodies walked into the back yard of her building shouting Vucic, Vucic, Go To Bed, Silence. “At some point I heard the whistling of a rocket, saw the light and felt something hit my right hand,” she said adding that she was deliberately targeted. “It hit my hand, broke through the window screen and ricocheted when it hit the wall. A child was in the apartment,” she said.

Police investigators appeared later and removed parts of the rocket.
