Women paid less than men in Serbia

According to the report, the national average salary for men is 116,337 Dinars (1 Euro – 118 Dinars) while the national average for women is 101,256 Dinars.

It said that the biggest gap in pay is among the most education part of the labor force with men receiving 46,487 Dinars more on average than women. The difference is least among the least educated with men getting 7,977 Dinars more than women. The average salary at the lowest education level is 71,648 Dinars a month for men and 63,671 Dinars for women.

In the state sector (salaries paid from the budget) men are paid an average of 118,744 Dinars and women 1115,589 Dinars.
