WWF Adria solar fence protect cattle from wolves in Stara Planina

The fence is intended to help protect cattle from predators, primarily wolves around the village of Slavinja.

A press release said the fence was funded through a project supported by the Intesa Foundation and will secure around 2.5 hectares of pasture.

WWF Adria said electric fencing, particularly when combined with dogs, is one of the most effective preventive measures against predator attacks.
