Fifty-six people were admitted to Zemun Hospital on Monday, with 30 percent of them exhibiting hearing damage, N1 has learned.

Doctors were required to label their reports with “P,” indicating that these patients had participated in the March 15 mass protest rally in Belgrade.

An N1 source said the hospital is required to send this documentation to the Security Intelligence Agency (BIA), adding that not all patients who were in the waiting area on Monday could be received.

40 people examined at the Emergency Services Center

Due to an incident at the protest, likely caused by an unidentified sonic weapon, 40 people were examined at the neurology department of the Emergency Services Center over the weekend.

An N1 source from the Center said the first patients started arriving on Saturday and continued throughout the day on Sunday.

There is still no information on the number of patients examined in the internal medicine department.
