Serbian Justice Ministry official injured in traffic accident in Hungary

Hungarian media reported that Justice Ministry State Secretary Mihaly Nyilas and his wife sustained injuries when their car rolled into a roadside canal near the town of Kocser. The media reports said they had to be cut out of the car, adding that their 11 year old daughter was unharmed. A spokesman for the Hungarian emergency services said that two adults were hospitalized with chest and possible spinal injuries.

Nyilas is an official of the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (SVM). The media recalled that he was involved in a 2017 traffic accident when a pedestrian was killed but was later freed of responsibility for that accident in 2019.
