Utakmica NBA šampionata između Los Anđeles Lejkersa i Los Anđeles Klipersa koja je trebalo da bude odigrana u sredu 29. januara u 4 časa po srednjoevropskom vremenu odložena je zbog smtri Kobija Brajanta.
Legendarni košarkaš poginuo je u nedelju zajedno sa svojom ćerkom u padu helikoptera u Kaliforniji.
Pored njih u letelici je bilo još sedam osoba i niko nije preživeo.
Lejkersi su lideti najjače lige sveta sa učinkom 36-10, dok je njihov gradski rival i jedan od najvećih pretendenata u borbi za titulu treći na Zapadu sa skorom 33-14.
Kobi je za 20 godina u Los Anđeles Lejkersima bio pet puta NBA šampion, dva puta najkorisniji igrač NBA finala, jednom najkorisniji igrač lige, a sa reprezentacijom SAD je dva puta bio olimpijski šampion.
